Junghans Meister Damen Automatic - 27/3343.00

Exquisite from every angle, the Junghans Meister Damen Automatic (ref. 27/3343.00) brings the elegance of the Meister line to a beautifully proportioned ladies' watch. Its green sunray dial glows with depth and movement, and diamond-cut dauphine hands and delicate hour markers lend it a jewelry-like finesse.

The polished 33.1mm stainless steel case features the gently curved contours typical of the Meister and a glass case back, secured by four screws, that reveals the self-winding J840.1 movement and its 38-hour power reserve. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the dial, and a macchiato brown ostrich leather strap with a stainless steel buckle and quick-release fittings makes it easy to change styles. Water resistant to 5 bar, this automatic watch for women is a refined companion for every occasion.

Timepiece History

Junghans traces its roots to 1861, when Erhard Junghans and his brother-in-law set up a workshop in Schramberg, in Germany's Black Forest, to make components for clocks, and the first complete Junghans clocks followed in 1866. By 1903, Junghans had become the world's largest watch factory, and in 1918 Arthur Junghans completed the nine-tier Terrassenbau, a terraced factory designed to bring daylight to every workplace that now houses the Junghans Terrassenbau Museum. Owned by the Steim family since 2009, Junghans still crafts its watches in Schramberg.

Meister has stood for elegant, reliable Junghans watches for nearly a century, with roots in the J80, the first in-house Junghans wristwatch movement, introduced in 1936. The Meister Damen Automatic brings the line's gently curved case contours and refined details to a 33.1mm size made for a slimmer wrist.
