Junghans Meister Worldtimer - 27/3011.45

The whole world in one elegant glance: the Junghans Meister Worldtimer (ref. 27/3011.45) displays all 24 time zones at once by aligning its 24-hour disc with the cities shown on the dial. The matt silver-plated dial, framed by two rings of city names around the hour disc, captures the earth's constant motion with classic Meister refinement.

Through the five-screw glass case back you can watch the self-winding J820.5 movement at work, delivering up to 42 hours of power reserve. The 40.4mm stainless steel case is a slim 10.5mm in height and protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, and a stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp makes it a natural travel companion. Water resistant to 5 bar, this automatic worldtimer keeps you connected to friends, family and colleagues wherever they are.

Timepiece History

Junghans traces its roots to 1861, when Erhard Junghans and his brother-in-law set up a workshop in Schramberg, in Germany's Black Forest, to make components for clocks, and the first complete Junghans clocks followed in 1866. By 1903, Junghans had become the world's largest watch factory, and in 1918 Arthur Junghans completed the nine-tier Terrassenbau, a terraced factory designed to bring daylight to every workplace that now houses the Junghans Terrassenbau Museum. Owned by the Steim family since 2009, Junghans still crafts its watches in Schramberg.

In 1936, Junghans introduced the J80, its first in-house wristwatch movement and the basis of the Meister series, whose design took shape in the 1950s. The Meister Worldtimer extends that classic line with a display of all 24 time zones, read by matching the hour disc with the cities on the dial, making it the Meister for those whose lives span the globe.
