Stainless Steel and Titanium

Timepiece History
Frederique Constant was founded in 1988 by Aletta and Peter Stas, an entrepreneurial couple who shared a passion for watchmaking. Headquartered in Geneva, Frederique Constant has long aimed to make high-end Swiss-made watches available at more accessible prices. In 2004, it joined the ranks of Swiss watchmakers that develop and produce their own in-house calibers, and today its Manufacture in Plan-les-Ouates, Geneva, designs, develops and assembles more than 30 in-house calibers, including tourbillon, perpetual calendar and flyback chronograph complications. Frederique Constant celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2023.
When Frederique Constant unveiled the first Highlife watches in 1999, their integrated strap set them apart, and the collection was brought back to the forefront from 2020. With no strap horns, the case and bracelet must be developed so their lines run together seamlessly, a more difficult task that pays off in a watch that sits naturally on the wrist. Each Highlife dial carries the same globe motif, a symbol of the Earth, harmony and the perfection of the circle, and two push-pins at the end of the bracelet let you trade steel for leather or rubber without tools.
COSC certification takes the Highlife Automatic COSC a step further. The independent Swiss body awards it to relatively few watches, and only after several days of testing confirm precise timekeeping within strict ISO-based limits, which is exactly the everyday accuracy this model was created to offer collectors.
