Accutron Horizon - 26C203

The Accutron Horizon is Accutron's master complication, bringing three of watchmaking's most demanding functions together in a single 41.5mm case: a chiming minute repeater, a perpetual calendar accurate through the year 2100, and a one-hour chronograph. It's a watch built to balance serious capability with a refined, sophisticated design.

The uniquely textured Denchu dial is set with sandstone subdials and crowned by a moon phase at 12 o'clock, while luminescent hands and markers keep the time easy to read after dark. Powering every complication is the Caliber 6U73, a battery-powered quartz movement accurate to within 15 seconds a month.

The case is crafted from 904L stainless steel and finished with a mix of brushed and polished surfaces, then paired with a matching 904L stainless steel multi-link bracelet secured by a deployant clasp.

Timepiece History

Bulova introduced the Accutron in 1960, the first watch to replace the traditional balance wheel with a battery-powered tuning fork vibrating 360 times per second. Its precision made it the first wristwatch accurate enough for official U.S. railroad use. Sixty years later, in 2020, Accutron introduced an electrostatic movement.

The Horizon debuted in October 2026 as part of Accutron's Fall/Winter 2026 collection, built around a new master complication movement, the Caliber 6U73. At its launch, Gear Patrol called it perhaps Accutron's most complicated watch ever, noting that its chronograph, minute repeater and perpetual calendar are arguably the three most prestigious complications in watchmaking, a combination it compared to grand complication watches, here offered for under $2,500. WatchPro described the launch as Accutron heading into haute horlogerie.
