Alpina Alpiner Extreme

The Alpiner Extreme is Alpina’s go-anywhere sports watch: a brushed steel cushion case, a bezel held by six screws that echo the Alpina triangle, and an integrated strap or bracelet. Choose quartz, automatic, chronograph or skeleton.

What’s the difference between the Alpiner Extreme and Heritage collections?

The Alpiner Extreme is Alpina’s modern sports watch, with a brushed steel cushion case and an integrated strap or bracelet. The Heritage collection reissues designs from Alpina’s archives, like the 1960s Seastrong diver and the 1965 Tropic-Proof.

What does “Alpina 4” mean?

It’s the standard Alpina set in 1938 for a true sports watch: antimagnetic, shock-resistant, water-resistant and made of stainless steel. The Alpiner collection is built on the same four principles.

Automatic, hand-wound or quartz: which should I choose?

An automatic watch winds itself as you wear it, with no battery. A hand-wound watch, like the Heritage Tropic-Proof, is wound by turning the crown, a small daily ritual. Quartz runs on a battery, keeps very accurate time and needs the least attention.
