Daily Care
• Wipe the case and bracelet with a soft microfiber cloth after wear to remove oils, dust, and fingerprints.
Cleaning
• Use a soft cloth lightly dampened with water and mild soap for occasional cleaning.
• Dry the watch thoroughly with a clean, soft cloth.
What to Avoid
• Avoid bleach, chlorine, harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and household cleaning products.
• Do not use polishing compounds unless specifically recommended by the watch manufacturer.
Stainless Steel and Titanium
• Light surface marks may develop over time with normal wear.
• Titanium can show cosmetic marks differently than stainless steel because of its lighter weight and surface characteristics.
Water Resistance
• Always follow the water resistance rating listed by the manufacturer for your specific watch.
• Water resistance is not permanent and can decrease over time as seals and gaskets age.
• Make sure the crown is fully pushed in or screwed down before water exposure.
• Do not operate the crown, pushers, or other controls while the watch is underwater unless the manufacturer specifically states that it is safe to do so.
• Avoid hot tubs, saunas, and very hot showers, as heat and rapid temperature changes can affect the watch seals.
• Have the water resistance checked periodically, especially after battery replacement, case opening, or service.
Storage
• Store your watch in a clean, dry place when not in use.

Its FC-303 self-winding caliber holds COSC chronometer certification, awarded by the independent Swiss institute only after several days of rigorous accuracy testing. The silver brass dial is decorated with the Highlife globe motif, then dressed with applied silver indexes and hand-polished silver hour, minute and seconds hands for a tone-on-tone look that feels polished without trying too hard.
The three-part stainless steel case is brushed and polished and flows into a three-link bracelet finished the same way, so the whole watch reads as one continuous piece of steel. A deployant clasp with push buttons keeps it secure, and the tool-free strap-changing system means the included navy blue rubber strap is ready whenever the day calls for something more casual. Timepiece History
Frederique Constant was founded in 1988 by Aletta and Peter Stas, an entrepreneurial couple who shared a passion for watchmaking. Headquartered in Geneva, Frederique Constant has long aimed to make high-end Swiss-made watches available at more accessible prices. In 2004, it joined the ranks of Swiss watchmakers that develop and produce their own in-house calibers, and today its Manufacture in Plan-les-Ouates, Geneva, designs, develops and assembles more than 30 in-house calibers, including tourbillon, perpetual calendar and flyback chronograph complications. Frederique Constant celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2023.
The Highlife collection traces back to 1999, when Frederique Constant released its first models with an integrated strap, and it has been revived from 2020 onward. Leaving out the strap horns lets the watch sit naturally on the wrist, though it demands more development work because the case and bracelet lines must flow together as a single form. The globe motif found on every Highlife dial represents the Earth, harmony and the perfection of the circle, while two push-pins at the end of the bracelet make switching between steel, leather and rubber a tool-free task. The new models also feature sapphire crystals with anti-reflective coating on both sides.
The Highlife Automatic COSC carries a chronometer certificate from COSC, the independent Swiss testing body, which issues it only when several days of trials show the watch keeps accurate time within a strict ISO standard. Frederique Constant designed it for collectors who want that precision as part of everyday life.
