• Wipe the case and bracelet with a soft microfiber cloth after wear to remove oils, dust, and fingerprints.
• Use a soft cloth lightly dampened with water and mild soap for occasional cleaning.
• Dry the watch thoroughly with a clean, soft cloth.
• Avoid bleach, chlorine, harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and household cleaning products.
• Do not use polishing compounds unless specifically recommended by the watch manufacturer.
• Light surface marks may develop over time with normal wear.
• Titanium can show cosmetic marks differently than stainless steel because of its lighter weight and surface characteristics.
• Always follow the water resistance rating listed by the manufacturer for your specific watch.
• Water resistance is not permanent and can decrease over time as seals and gaskets age.
• Make sure the crown is fully pushed in or screwed down before water exposure.
• Do not operate the crown, pushers, or other controls while the watch is underwater unless the manufacturer specifically states that it is safe to do so.
• Avoid hot tubs, saunas, and very hot showers, as heat and rapid temperature changes can affect the watch seals.
• Have the water resistance checked periodically, especially after battery replacement, case opening, or service.
• Store your watch in a clean, dry place when not in use.
• Keep it separated from other jewelry or watches to help prevent scratches.

The Frederique Constant Highlife Heart Beat Automatic (ref. FC-310B4NH6B) proudly puts its mechanical soul on display, opening a window in the dial so you can watch the balance wheel of its Swiss automatic movement beating in real time. It is a modern, minimalist take on one of Frederique Constant's most recognizable designs, built here around a black brass dial decorated with the Highlife globe motif. The aperture sits right at the pole of that globe, a clever bit of placement that turns the movement's rhythm into part of the dial's artwork, while applied silver indexes and luminous hands and markers keep the time easy to read.
The 41mm stainless steel case measures 10.84mm thick and flows seamlessly into an integrated steel bracelet that closes with a fold-over clasp. For more casual days, an additional black rubber strap is included, giving the watch a sportier, more relaxed personality without losing any of its polish. The FC-310 self-winding caliber needs no battery, winding itself from the natural motion of your wrist, and anti-reflective sapphire crystal plus 100 meters of water resistance mean it is as comfortable at the pool as it is at dinner. For anyone who loves seeing the mechanics behind the time, this is a striking way to wear Swiss watchmaking every day.
Frederique Constant was founded in 1988 by Aletta and Peter Stas, an entrepreneurial couple who shared a passion for watchmaking. Headquartered in Geneva, Frederique Constant has long aimed to make high-end Swiss-made watches available at more accessible prices. In 2004, it joined the ranks of Swiss watchmakers that develop and produce their own in-house calibers, and today its Manufacture in Plan-les-Ouates, Geneva, designs, develops and assembles more than 30 in-house calibers, including tourbillon, perpetual calendar and flyback chronograph complications. Frederique Constant celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2023.
The first Heart Beat watch arrived in 1994 and quickly became one of Frederique Constant's signature designs. Its purpose was to make clear that these watches were mechanical: an opening cut into the dial at the position of the balance wheel lets the wearer see the movement at work, a feature often called the watch's beating heart.
In the Highlife Heart Beat Automatic, that idea meets the Highlife collection, which Frederique Constant first launched in 1999 with an integrated strap and revived from 2020. The integrated case has no strap horns, so it sits naturally on the wrist, and its dial carries the globe motif shared by every Highlife model, a symbol of the Earth, harmony and the perfection of the circle, with the Heart Beat aperture placed at the globe's pole. Two push-pins at the end of the bracelet allow tool-free changes between steel, leather and rubber straps.
