• Wipe the case and bracelet with a soft microfiber cloth after wear to remove oils, dust, and fingerprints.
• Use a soft cloth lightly dampened with water and mild soap for occasional cleaning.
• Dry the watch thoroughly with a clean, soft cloth.
• Avoid bleach, chlorine, harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and household cleaning products.
• Do not use polishing compounds unless specifically recommended by the watch manufacturer.
• Light surface marks may develop over time with normal wear.
• Titanium can show cosmetic marks differently than stainless steel because of its lighter weight and surface characteristics.
• Always follow the water resistance rating listed by the manufacturer for your specific watch.
• Water resistance is not permanent and can decrease over time as seals and gaskets age.
• Make sure the crown is fully pushed in or screwed down before water exposure.
• Do not operate the crown, pushers, or other controls while the watch is underwater unless the manufacturer specifically states that it is safe to do so.
• Avoid hot tubs, saunas, and very hot showers, as heat and rapid temperature changes can affect the watch seals.
• Have the water resistance checked periodically, especially after battery replacement, case opening, or service.
• Store your watch in a clean, dry place when not in use.
• Keep it separated from other jewelry or watches to help prevent scratches.

Warm, polished and quietly radiant, the Frederique Constant Classics Moneta Moonphase (ref. FC-206S3S5) is a Swiss quartz moonphase watch that wears its inspiration right on its edge. The Moneta gets its name from the fluting that circles the dial, a detail modeled on the milled rim of a coin that catches the light each time you move your wrist. Here it frames a 37mm round case in stainless steel finished with yellow gold PVD, kept slim at just 7.65mm so it slips easily under a shirt cuff. Inside that golden frame, a silver-toned sunray dial is set with yellow gold dauphine hands and applied hour markers, and a moon phase display at 6 o'clock adds a touch of romance to everyday timekeeping.
Behind the dial, the Swiss-made FC-206 quartz movement keeps the hours, minutes and lunar cycle on track with accuracy to within about 15 seconds a month, and its battery is designed to run for roughly five years, so the Moneta is always ready when you are. A convex anti-reflective sapphire crystal keeps the sunray dial bright and legible while standing up to knocks, and water resistance of 50 meters covers still-water swimming. The look is finished with a dark brown calfskin strap embossed with a crocodile pattern and fastened with a classic pin buckle. It's a graceful, easy-to-wear way to bring Swiss watchmaking into your daily routine, and a gift that feels genuinely special.
Frederique Constant was founded in 1988 by Aletta and Peter Stas, an entrepreneurial couple who shared a passion for watchmaking. Headquartered in Geneva, Frederique Constant has long aimed to make high-end Swiss-made watches available at more accessible prices. In 2004, it joined the ranks of Swiss watchmakers that develop and produce their own in-house calibers, and today its Manufacture in Plan-les-Ouates, Geneva, designs, develops and assembles more than 30 in-house calibers, including tourbillon, perpetual calendar and flyback chronograph complications. Frederique Constant celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2023.
The Moneta Moonphase belongs to Frederique Constant's Classics collection, home to its clean-lined, timeless designs and its long-standing aim of keeping Swiss luxury within reach. The Moneta name comes from the fluted flange around the dial, styled after the milled edge of a coin, and the line pairs that detail with a fine sunray dial, a moon phase display and a Swiss quartz movement, offering traditional watchmaking finishes at a more accessible price.
