What’s the difference between Prospex, Presage and Seiko 5 Sports?
Prospex is Seiko’s sports line for divers, field watches and chronographs. Presage is its line of mechanical dress watches, with dials inspired by Japanese craft. Seiko 5 Sports is its everyday automatic line, descended from the original 1963 Seiko 5.
Automatic, solar or quartz: which should I choose?
An automatic watch is mechanical and winds itself as you wear it, with no battery. A solar watch charges from any light, so there is no regular battery change. Quartz runs on a battery, keeps very accurate time and needs the least attention.
