• Wipe the case and bracelet with a soft microfiber cloth after wear to remove oils, dust, and fingerprints.
• Use a soft cloth lightly dampened with water and mild soap for occasional cleaning.
• Dry the watch thoroughly with a clean, soft cloth.
• Avoid bleach, chlorine, harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and household cleaning products.
• Do not use polishing compounds unless specifically recommended by the watch manufacturer.
• Light surface marks may develop over time with normal wear.
• Titanium can show cosmetic marks differently than stainless steel because of its lighter weight and surface characteristics.
• Always follow the water resistance rating listed by the manufacturer for your specific watch.
• Water resistance is not permanent and can decrease over time as seals and gaskets age.
• Make sure the crown is fully pushed in or screwed down before water exposure.
• Do not operate the crown, pushers, or other controls while the watch is underwater unless the manufacturer specifically states that it is safe to do so.
• Avoid hot tubs, saunas, and very hot showers, as heat and rapid temperature changes can affect the watch seals.
• Have the water resistance checked periodically, especially after battery replacement, case opening, or service.
• Store your watch in a clean, dry place when not in use.
• Keep it separated from other jewelry or watches to help prevent scratches.

Rich forest color and classic chronograph proportions meet in the Junghans Meister Chronoscope (ref. 27/4222.03), an automatic chronograph from Schramberg with real personality. Its fir green dial is finished with a sunray brush, so the green deepens and brightens as your wrist moves, and hands with luminous substance keep the hours and minutes easy to follow from morning to night.
Every detail rewards a closer look. The 30-minute and 12-hour counters rest in the bowl-like dimples that define Meister chronographs, the date and an English weekday display sit neatly within the layout, and the self-winding J880.1 caliber holds up to 48 hours of power reserve when the chronograph is not running. The polished 40.7mm stainless steel case, 13.9mm high, is topped with a domed, anti-reflective sapphire crystal and finished with a five-screw case back fitted with mineral crystal. An ostrich leather strap with a stainless steel buckle completes this German watch, which is water resistant to 5 bar.
Junghans was founded on April 14, 1861, in Schramberg in Germany's Black Forest, when Erhard Junghans and his brother-in-law, Jakob Zeller-Tobler, set up a firm making parts for large Black Forest clocks; the first complete Junghans clocks followed in 1866. By 1903, Junghans had grown into the largest clock manufacturer in the world, and in 1918 it completed its nine-level terrace building, the Terrassenbau, which today houses the Junghans Terrassenbau Museum. Owned by the Steim family since 2009, Junghans remains based in Schramberg today.
Junghans launched the Meister collection in 1936, after it had begun producing its own movements in the 1930s; those calibers became the foundation of the line. In the heyday of the mechanical wristwatch, the finest of the many movements developed in Schramberg were reserved for Meister, and Junghans ranked among the largest chronometer makers in the world in 1956 before introducing its first automatic chronometer caliber, the J83, in 1957. The Meister Chronoscope keeps that spirit alive today, and Meister has now offered reliable timekeeping for nearly a century.
